The Sony Ericsson G502 is a remarkable phone, mainly because it's aimed squarely at the lower-price market and yet still packs in an impressive set of features including a very capable web browser, making it great value for money.
Sony Ericsson's 'G' series is designed to give a great Internet experience, and the G502 does not disappoint. 3.5G technology (and EDGE where a 3G signal is not available) give super-fast Internet speeds, and despite the slightly small 2" screen the slick browser makes surfing the mobile web a smooth and swift experience.
The Sony Ericsson G502 also comes with an FM radio with RDS, a comfortable keypad that's easy for texting and emailing, plus a media centre that can be expanded with an M2 memory card, and supports file transfers with Bluetooth and USB. The G502 also features a 2 megapixel camera, although there is no video calling support.
The Sony Ericsson G502 defines itself as an easily affordable Internet phone, yet still manages to fit in a good media centre and some all-important connectivity options. This is a very good choice for anyone who wants more from their mobile phone without having to pay a huge price tag, and the seamless web integration is something no-one can refuse.
